I've reached a quarter of a century!!

**3 new posts! Check them out :)

My birthday was FANTASTIC! We celebrated all the way from Thursday to Saturday. We ate at Mimi's with my dad and little bro, went to the Cheesecake Factory where I ate a zillion million calories of cheese-cakey goodness and it was so worth it :) And on Saturday we had dinner at the comedy club in Irvine where we saw a FUNNY laugh out loud comedian. Holy heck I've never laughed so hard in my entire life! Of course my batteries died in my camera at the Cheesecake Factory and then I left it in the car when we were in Irvine uggggh! Thanks Shirie for taking pics!

This last pic is for you Grandma B.! It still makes me laugh... I wanted to see if you could catch it!

Needs Glasses!!!

Align CenterThat's right...

Align Centerthis cute little girl is far-sighted! I wouldn't have known it but for the last year or so her right eye slightly crosses when she is looking directly at things right in front of her face...poor little thing! So the glasses will hopefully correct it. The ophthalmologist said most kids that have that grow out of it by their early teens. So this is her waiting patiently in the waiting room, texting all her friends in China. She had to get her eyes dilated again, 2nd time this year! That is no pleasant experience... do you think little kids like a zillion drops in their eyes?! Oh no, no they don't. So thankfully Bryce's work has open enrollment this month so we can hop her on our vision plan!

Last Weekend

We went up to Oak Glen with our GREAT friends Miranda and Steve and their so-cute-you-wanna-scqueeze-his-cheeks baby Tanner. I had never gone on a weekend before and yikes was that place crowded! It was really fun, Melia got to ride a pony for the first time, which surprised because the weekend before she refused to do it at the pumpkin patch! Anyways it was so cute and she really had a good time.
The perfect ending to any day at Oak Glen is OF COURSE finish off with crumb apple pie...a la mode...oh come on, like there's any other way! :) But we also didn't want to wait 2 hours to get one so we went to less crowded Rileys Ranch and had dessert colonial style at thier resturaunt. This is where I had my first sassparilla...I know I probably butchard that spelling but think of the best rootbeer ever made and then a little better.
We then wanted the apple cider donuts (haha I know the feeding frenzy is NEVER over!) from Snowline but they ran out... sooo we went and got them two days later hahaha. SO good!

Table Talk

Tonight as Melia and I were eating dinner:

Melia: Mom I want juice please
Me: OK you need to eat your peas and I will get you some juice
Melia: MOM I don't want peas DARNIT!

Hmmm... I wonder what word I use too much around here...

More Disney Fun

If you haven't gone to Disneyland during their Halloween time you need to go before it's over! It was amazing, especially the Haunted Mansion. Wow! That's all I could say while we were riding it. As always we had a blast, it was a long day and the weather was great. OK friends so let's go before the month is over!

Melia's favorite parade is the Pixar one, she saw Crush the turtle and said Heyyy Duuude! Funny girl!

On the carousel, the first time Melia has ridden by herself!

I'll race you down the street! Loser has to drive home!

The best end to a looong Disney day

Pumpkin Patch Fun

I LOVE the month of October, obviously (and most importantly) because it's my birthday month, but also I love the introduction of this great sweater wearing fall weather, cute decorations, Halloween, pumpkins, great baking days with friends and family, man I could just go on forever!

On Saturday we visited the pumpkin patch where we explored, rode John Deere's, jumped on jumpers, made friends with a monkey all sorts of cool stuff. I wanted Melia to ride on the pony's but at the last second she freaked out and it was a no-go. Oh well maybe next year! We had a great time!

My fav pics of Melia

She's got mad dancin skills!

Melia had her first dance class on Friday. She loved every second of it especially running around with all the girls in their "princess dresses", that's what she calls her outfit :)

On the bar

There were definite times of lost concentration... besides hanging on the bar is WAY more fun then holding second position :D

Dancing across the floor with her teacher, Ms. Stacy

Wow look at that pose! lol
