While Melia was napping today, I found myself blog stalking...Oops! I mean blog searching! On a friend of a friends blog. She blogged about how she found this REALLY funny page, Seriously So Blessed. After I saw the blog for myself I was laughing to hard inside that I had to share it with you guys.
With the whole phenomenon of mormon mommy blogs out there, this blog pokes fun with extreme wittiness at the typical "mormon style" of blogging. So while this individual is entirely made up, its freakin hilarious how dead on she is! I am So LoViNG ThIs SiTe!!!

Used to work my fingers to the bone tons but quit my job to be a SAHP (stay at home preggo). I'm the first lady of JJWT's law/biz/med/dental school bc I'm pres of the wives club and we do TONS OF FUN STUFF! Being preggers rocks and NO ONE can believe my oven has two buns in it bc I look so H-of hot! Also, I am way deep and often give my smarty pants opinion on things like the economies and politics.

Guitars and Still No Camera!!!

Wow so where the crap have we been??! I have been such an unfaithful blogger these last two weeks. In part I blame that on Best Buy for holding my camera hostage. Btw I was supposed to get it back today so I called them and they told me that they don't show any status change since the arrival date...
Sigh...you mean its been at Kodak for two weeks and they probably havent even looked at it!! Geez this is getting a little annoying! I just want something that is built to work properly and that lasts for more than six months. I just don't think it's possible anymore.

OK so anyways we really haven't been up to much these weeks any how so not like I really had anything to post. We did have a fun night out with some friends 2 weekends ago when we went to go see Terry Fator at Casino Morongo. If you didn't watch America's got Talent last year, Terry was the winner and he's a great ventriloquist/impersonater/comedian/singer. I actually hadn't watched it either but we were looking for a good comedy bit to go to.
Bryce has started school again and I have started my string of guitar lessons. I know you are all DYING (haha) to see my progress, but it'll be awhile until I actually know anything decent.
So in the mean time we are just the same ole, same ole' and Melia is still her oh-so comical self.

I was actually pretty surprised she knew the actions to the song because I have sang it to her maybe once or twice before. I' m guessing she is paying attention in nursery!
Also I will give anyone 10$ to decipher Melia's secret language she is using in this clip........anybody??
And yes -that is the first real fire we had in our fireplace in the whole two years weve lived here. And of course it was when we had company over that smoke decided to fill the room and set all of our fire alarms off...but that kind of stuff is really only supposed to happen while you're entertaining right?

Bad Cameras and New Hobbies

Ugh! I hate cameras!

OK I don't hate them really. I actually love them to a fault.

But now mine is broken and I hate the dang thing because I won't get her back until the 20Th...

I have really had a bad time with Kodak's...actually Ive been through 3 of them in 3 years... I think now is a good time to switch!

So anyways... I am getting into new hobbies because I am finding that I have A LOT of extra time on my hands. So a couple of months ago I bought an electric guitar...I am so inspired by all things guitar! And I received a gift certificate to a guitar shop in Redlands from my AWESOME mother in law...gosh have I said how incredibly rad she is?? And its for 4 guitar lessons.

Fabulous, I know.

So I am going to start those a week from today and I am positively giddy thinking about me learning to play. I am a little scared though - I hope I can pick up on it fast.

So...Id take a picture of my guitar to show you - but the dang Kodak's zoom decided to bust.
But it might be better that I show it to you in a couple of weeks when I can actually play the thing.

Also I have been thinking of taking some photography classes too. The stuff amazes me to the point of no return.

So if anyone knows anything about these two areas and can give me any advice I would love to hear it!

When we are in the supermarket and someone rams our ankle with a shopping cart then apologizes for doing so, why do we say, "It's all right?" Well, it isn't all right, so why don't we say, "That hurt, you stupid idiot?"

Why is it that whenever you attempt to catch something that's falling off the table you always manage to knock something else over?

In winter why do we try to keep the house as warm as it was in summer when we complained about the heat?

How come you never hear father-in-law jokes?
