Woohoo! Nate is in the house! lol Yep so last night we got surprised by Nate catching an earlier flight. It gave everyone just enough time to race down to Ontario to be there when his plane arrived.

A little bit older and wiser and definitely skinnier! So the pictures tell most of the story, but here is the narration. A big crowd of spectators clapped and hollered with us when he came down the escalator. My sister raced to him and they could not stop hugging and kissing - normally anyone would offer the phrase of "ewww go get a room!" but for the circumstances it was very sweet.
And just when you thought things were fantastic enough, Nate says "Since I didn't do this the right way the first time..." he then bowed on one knee and asked my sister to marry him! Oh man it was so cute. He put a big ol' rock on her finger and the spectators went crazy! It was so fun! So of course she said yes - and this post will continue on Monday when they are going to be married.

Nathan's Return... almost

I have a wacky and messed up and crazy family... but I love them dearly and they put up with me in return. This picture was taken the day my sister's fiance got sent out to serve in Iraq. That was in Febuary - but good news he is coming home on Saturday! We are all very excited to see him and my sister is about to pee herself she is so excited and misses him insanely! I am so grateful for these willing men and women who leave everything behind to go and serve out country! God bless them all! They are going to get married on Monday - so stay tuned !

Just another day at home

Besides running to the grocery store, and a quick trip to the park
(we left early because someone wanted to hit- and it wasn't me- but it almost was...lol ;) we just hung out today.

A little humor please

One evening, a family brings their frail, elderly mother to a nursing home and leaves her, hoping she will be well cared for.

The next morning, the nurses bathe her, feed her a tasty breakfast, and set her in a chair at a window overlooking a lovely flower garden.

She seems okay but after a while she slowly starts to lean over sideways in her chair. Two attentive nurses immediately rush up to catch her and straighten her up.

Again, she seems okay but after a while she starts to tilt to the other side. The nurses rush back and once more bring her back upright.

This goes on all morning.

Later, the family arrives to see how the old woman is adjusting to her new home.

"So Ma, how is it here? Are they treating you all right?" they ask.

"It's pretty nice," she replies. "Except they won't let you fart."


Haha... Melia please don't put me in a nursing home! ;)

~Yes I broke down while Bryce was gone because Melia is just growing up to fast and doesn't want me to rock her to sleep anymore. Ugh I am so emotional.
