Advice would be nice!

Oh man so this pregnancy so far has not been very kind to me... I am constantly on a roller coaster of nauseousness throughout the whole day, every day for the last two weeks. I remember being sick with Melia but then I would puke and have relief and be fine for the rest of the day. Sadly no relief yet for me so far... what helped you the most when you were sick? ANY advise or tips would be great! I just feel bad for Melia because I can't really take her any where because I am never feeling ok! I don't want to complain to anyone so I guess I'll get it all out on here :)
Thanks guys :)

  1. Why can't pregnancy be easier???? I'm trying to get up the courage to try again myself and you are not helping! JK :). I was nauseated forever with Zoe and rarely threw up = no relief. Someone told me to hold a lemon (pierce the skin with your nails) while you grocery shop and that helped me a lot! Another scent that helped was the eucalyptus spearmint spray from Bath and Body Works, have you seen it? I have some you can try if you want. Last tip is from a friend going through chemo. He said the nausea was a hundred times worse when he wasn't hydrated enough, and I actually found that to be true for myself. As hard as it is to drink liters of fluid when you're not feeling well, it really helped. Hope something works for you :/

  2. Congratulations on being pregnant!!! So fun. No fun that you are so sick though. Ugg! Nothing really worked for me. I only could eat cheeze-its and lemonade with Chase. It was literally the only thing that would kind of sound good for the first few months. Oh, I Hope it is just the first little bit that you are so sick. Hang in there. Kristen drank Pepsi every day and it helped her. Maybe ask her about it.

  3. YES!! Pepsi all the way!! It helped me so SO much. Even if you are a coke drinker, that helps too. There is somethign with dark sodas that really help the nausea. Eat toast too. Sorry you are feeling so crappy!

  4. I threw up about 5x a day for the first 3 months with Azure. With Vince it was about 2x a day for 2 months. I took Zofran, which is what they give to chemo patients to stop vomiting. It helped a ton! It's only if you're throwing up a lot though (more than 2x a day constantly). Ask your Dr. about it if you think you need it.

  5. I have been the same way. I was never really sick with my daughter unless I ate beef. With my son I was always feeling ill until around 12 weeks. I took phenergan with him. This one has been the hardest by far. All hours of the day. My doctor told me to take 1/2 unisom and 1/2 B6, both are over the counter and safe to take while pregnant. No foods helped they all made me feel worse. During the 1st trimester it took enough of the edge off that I could function. Now that I am in my 2nd trimester it really makes me feel good. I tried not taking it one day because I had been feeling so good but went right back on it. If you do try this take it at night because it will make you sleepy. Any meds the doctor gives you as well will make you sleepy. I just wanted to try a more natural route. Good luck! I feel your pain :)

  6. Yucky! I was sick with Tanner until I was 14 weeks. Like Deanna said, you could try the Zofran, I did not use it cuz I am crazy. I wanted to try a more homeopathic way. It helped a little but I was still yucky at times. I remember just wanting to puke when I was in the middle of coaching class. Anyway, I loved to chew gum, mint of any kind. I stayed away from chicken and beef. One night after work Steven and I were suppose to go to a movie but I could not make it. We ran home from hollywood and ate a big bowl of cream of wheat with an english muffin! THAT right there was my saving grace.
