5th Anniversary

As we were trying to hurry out the door this last Friday night, I snuck in my last post saying that we were on our way to a Celine Dion concert...and that is exactly what we did. After dropping Melia off at Bryce's mom's house (thousands of thanks!) we took off down to Anaheim. This was Melia's first time away from us through the night. I was kind of anxious about it but I knew she was in good hands. In fact I didn't even call to see if she was OK...

OK well I called once, maybe twice

Geez OK I called like 5 times but what kind of mom would I be if I didn't!! =)

So anyways we stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort by Disneyland for the night which was really nice.
We went to the Cheesecake Factory which is my ultimate love and had a fantastic dinner together.

Now here comes the saddest part of all, I love my husband with all of my heart -but he told me to leave my camera (my heart and soul!) in the car because on the tickets it says no cameras or video cameras. SO being a good wife I said OK Ill leave it in the car (sigh...) which turned out to be so bogus because EVERYONE and there moms had their cameras with them! Oh I could cry for not having any pictures of Ms. Celine...not like we were that close that you could of actually seen her face... but that is besides the point. So here is what we heard...

Barbara singt

Haha just kidding I hope you didn't listen to the whole thing...poor girl!

I found this video on Myspace from a girl who was there too. I swear we must have been sitting close to her because we had almost the same view.

Celine Dion

But WOW did she give a fantastic show! I was blown away. I think she has the best voice I have ever heard in my life and you can tell she is so nice and thankful for all she has. I love her that much more now.

So technically our fifth anniversary isn't until December 13th, which is the day before Melia's birthday - but we have so much going on we decided to celebrate early this year. It has been a crazy 5 years full of love and suprise and happiness and I wouldn't want it any other way. Bryce has been so good to me and is the best dad for our daughter. I love that I can count on him for just just about anything, even going to a Celine Dion concert which he secretly loved just as much as I did...shhh don't tell! I love how safe he makes me feel and that he tries his hardest to help others in need. I love you so much Bryce! Here is for 100 more years!

  4. Happy Anniversary. Sounds like you had a great night. I'm jealous that you got to go to the Cheesecake Factory all by yourself (I mean with your hubby). I love that place too.
